Frequently Asked Questions
How much will this cost?
Dr. Cell Phone strives to keep costs low so that repairing your phone is a cost efficient solution.
You can get a quote on a repair in one of three ways:
1. You can submit a "Question for the doc" located on the right hand side of the page.
2. You can send an email to repairs@drcellphone.com
3. You can give us a call between 9am and 6pm CST M-F and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.
We recommend using the first two methods since our call volumes are quite high and you may be placed on hold for several minutes. Our staff responds to most messages within 24 hours, often within 1 hour!
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Once we receive your phone we offer discounted FedEx ground shipping back to
you for $6.99. 2nd Day $19.99 Overnight $34.99
How do I pay for the repair?
Because every repair is different, we cannot take payment until the repair is completed. When we receive your phone, a representative will contact you with a quote and will ask for payment preauthorization.
Does the estimated price include labor?
All prices include parts and labor.
How long will the repair take?
Most repairs can be completed within 30 to 45 minutes for walk-in customers and upto a day for mail-in repairs. However, we will occasionally have to order parts or software for the repair. In this situation your repair may take 3 to 5 days. In rare circumstances the repair may take longer.
What is your warranty policy?
All non-liquid damage repairs are covered for 30 days. If you should find that the same problem persists after paying for the repair, we will take it in for a warranty repair free of charge. The customer must fill out a warranty repair form and submit copies of their receipts with the phone. Dr. Cell Phone will provide the customer with a prepaid shipping label to get the phone back to our workshop.
